JKR: Racing with a Purpose.
At JKR, racing is more than just a sport—it’s a calling. Our team is built on a foundation of faith, determination, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the track. Each week, we give our very best effort, striving to be fierce competitors and strong representatives of the racing community. But for us, the pursuit of victory does not end with trophies or checkered flags.
From a young age, team driver Jarrod Klay knew that life’s ultimate prize is not found in earthly success, but in a relationship with Jesus Christ. At just five years old, Jarrod made the decision to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior, understanding that eternal life is only possible through His sacrifice on the cross. That moment shaped not only his faith, but also his purpose in racing.
Racing, for Jarrod and the entire JKR team, is a platform—a way to glorify God and share the good news of His love. Every lap turned, every challenge faced, and every finish line crossed is an opportunity to honor the One who makes it all possible. While winning on the track will always be a goal, the greater mission is to point others to the ultimate victory found in Christ.
At JKR, we believe that faith and racing go hand in hand. We are passionate about competition, but even more passionate about using the gifts God has given us to impact lives for eternity. Our story is one of speed, perseverance, and above all, purpose.

Our Beliefs.
1. The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s Word—every part of it was given by His inspiration (2 Timothy 3:16). It is completely true and without error. The Bible is our ultimate guide for what we believe, how we live, and how we stay united as followers of Christ (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:19–21).
2. God
We believe there is only one true God (Deut. 6:4; Jer. 10:10). He is eternal, all-knowing, holy, and loving. God created and rules over everything (Acts 17:24–28).
Within the one God are three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19). They are equal in every way but carry out different roles in God’s work of salvation (John 10:30).
-
The Father – He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:3). Out of love for the world, He gave His Son so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life (John 3:16).
-
The Son (Jesus Christ) – Jesus is the eternal Son of God who became human while remaining fully God (Matt. 1:18–25). He lived a sinless life (1 Pet. 2:22), died on the cross as our substitute (1 Pet. 2:24), was buried, and rose again in victory over sin and death (1 Cor. 15:1–8).
-
The Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit is fully God (John 16:7). He brings new life to those who believe (John 3:5–6), lives inside every believer from the moment of salvation (1 Cor. 3:16), and unites us into the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12–14).
3. Satan
We believe Satan is real and the source of sin and darkness (2 Cor. 4:3–4). But through Jesus’ death and resurrection, Satan has already been judged and his final defeat is certain (John 12:31).
4. Humanity
We believe God created people in His image (Gen. 1–2). But through sin, humanity fell away from God (Gen. 3). Because of that, every person is born with a sinful nature and chooses to sin (Rom. 3:23). Without Christ, we face eternal separation from God (Eph. 2:13).
But through the Holy Spirit, anyone who repents of sin and believes in Jesus receives new life (2 Cor. 5:17; John 3:1–14).
5. Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, not something we can earn (Eph. 2:8–9). Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again so we could be forgiven and made right with God (Isa. 53; 2 Cor. 5:21).
Salvation comes by personally placing faith in Jesus Christ (John 1:12). True salvation includes repentance—turning from sin and turning toward God (Acts 2:37–38).
6. The Church
We believe all believers are part of the body of Christ, the true Church (1 Cor. 12:12–27). Local churches are gatherings of believers who commit to worship, fellowship, and living out the Gospel together (Acts 2:42–47).
-
Baptism – We believe baptism is for those who have trusted Christ. Being immersed in water is a public symbol of our faith in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matt. 28:19–20; Col. 2:12).
-
The Lord’s Supper – We believe communion is a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice and should be taken by believers with self-examination and reverence (1 Cor. 11:23–28).
7. The Future
We believe Jesus will return for His Church (1 Thess. 4:13–18). Believers will be rewarded for their faithfulness (1 Cor. 3:12–15).
Jesus will return to reign on earth (Rev. 19:11–16) before the final judgment, when all who have rejected Him will face eternal separation from God (Rev. 20:11–15). We look forward to God’s eternal Kingdom where He will reign forever (1 Cor. 15:24–28).
